ARBUTHNOT BANKING GROUP PLC
VOTING RIGHTS AND CAPITAL
In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provisions,
Arbuthnot Banking Group PLC ('Arbuthnot') notifies the market that Arbuthnot had
14,943,944 one pence ordinary shares with voting rights in issue. Arbuthnot does
not hold any shares in treasury.
The above figure (14,943,944) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they determine whether under the FSA's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules they are required to notify their interest in or a change to
their interest in Arbuthnot.
