(TSX Venture: VQS) is pleased to announce the release of RecordIAB version
2.0. RecordIAB is VIQ's complete 8-channel enclosed recording console which
enables users to record, playback and store digital audio.
RecordIAB 2.0 incorporates many feature enhancements and increased
functionality. A key new feature is the built-in ability to submit audio for
transcription via the VIQ NetScribe solution. The archiving process has also
been supplemented with the ability to archive audio to a standard CD or DVD
while recording. Additional management options are available, such as
automatic case numbers and button configuration. RecordIAB 2.0 also comes with
enhanced web-based administration pages for remote configuration and
management.

Today, RecordIAB units have been purchased in many locations around the
world. In Europe, RecordIABs are operating in the Bosnian Parliament and the
Chancery Court in Dublin, Ireland. VIQ's subsidiary Spark & Cannon is using
RecordIABs in five locations across Australia. In Nigeria, Stentronics has
installed several units in the courts in Delta State. Across North America,
RecordIABs are in use in the 13th Judicial Circuit in Tampa; in Butler, Rush,
Pawnee, Edwards, Lane, Ness, and Nemaha County District Courts in Kansas; in
the Department of Health in Arizona; in Rosebud Tribal Court in South Dakota;
in Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska and Kirtland Air Force Base in New
Mexico.
