VGTel, Inc. (OTC: VGTL) VGTel Leverages Starlink Infrastructure to Establish Global Connectivity for Sky Monitoring Grid
Lander, WY. – April 30, 2025 — VGTel, Inc. (OTC: VGTL), a publicly traded technology company focused on astronomy, aerospace, and digital infrastructure, is pleased to announce its commitment to leveraging Starlink’s satellite internet as a core component of its global infrastructure. This high-speed, low-latency connectivity has already proven instrumental during our alpha testing in Miami, where Starlink’s performance has exceeded expectations and validated our architecture for global deployment.
Building the Backbone of a Borderless Observation Network
As VGTel continues its transformation into a world-class sky monitoring and astronomical technology company, infrastructure becomes everything. In regions where traditional fiber or cellular coverage is limited, Starlink provides an elegant solution, delivering blazing-fast internet via satellite to even the most remote locations on Earth. From the deserts of Chile to potential future sites in Greenland and the Arctic, our systems must function 24/7, without compromise or delay.
"Starlink is not just fast — it's revolutionary," said Ken Williams, CEO of VGTel and Starlink subscriber. "After careful evaluation of off-grid internet providers, it's clear that Starlink is the best available option today, especially with the reliability, speed, and global coverage it offers. While Blue Origin and Amazon’s Project Kuiper are working toward building their own satellite networks, it will likely take time for those systems to reach full deployment. Starlink, as a U.S.-based company already operating at scale, ensures that our critical data infrastructure remains secure and domestically anchored. With consistent speeds rivaling major terrestrial ISPs, Starlink gives us the blank canvas we need to deploy our telescope farms and sky monitoring systems anywhere on the planet."
How It Works: Starlink, Raspberry Pi, and the Global VPN Grid
At the heart of VGTel’s infrastructure is a combination of low-power Raspberry Pi units, High-sensitivity CMOS astronomy cameras, and custom-built observation modules, magnetic field Disturbance Detector, Including a Beta/Gamma XRay Detector, running open-source software. These lightweight systems, powered by two (12 watt total) solar energy, charging (6) 3.7V 9000mAh high capacity lithium batteries and optimized for field durability, connect directly to the Starlink satellite array. The locations with telescopes will have more of a robust grid with ample power for the larger telescope, as more power will be required.
Each observation node securely tunnels back to our data core via encrypted VPN channels, allowing for secured real-time image synchronization, anomaly detection, and global observation coordination.
Key advantages:
Starlink’s Low Latency: Critical for real-time space monitoring, alerts, maintenance and live feeds.
Decentralized Nodes: Raspberry Pi-based stations reduce energy consumption, and low hardware costs.
Open-Source Architecture: Reduces development time, increases transparency, and invites collaboration.
Global Resilience: VPN tunneling creates a secure, distributed system immune to regional outages or censorship.
The Future: Toward a Fully Distributed Space-Age Internet
Looking ahead, VGTel plans to scale this network across continents, creating a global mesh of astronomical intelligence. With Starlink’s ever-growing satellite constellation, our infrastructure can dynamically shift, reroute, and heal itself ensuring uninterrupted service regardless of geopolitical boundaries or weather conditions.
Our roadmap includes:
Additional test sites in high-altitude and equatorial zones
AI-driven image recognition and spectrographic telemetry using edge compute nodes
Collaborative integrations with citizen scientists and universities
This is more than observation—it’s the early infrastructure of a space-aware internet for a planet that needs real-time eyes on the sky.
