reported net earnings of $6.1 million or $0.28 per share for the fourth quarter, compared to $16.2 million or $0.73 per share in the year-ago quarter. Sales for the quarter declined to $116.8 million from $130.1 million in the prior-year quarter. Further, the company said its board declared an eligible quarterly dividend of $0.08 per share, payable on June 30, 2010, to all shareholders of record as at June 15, 2010. Velan Inc.
