This third-party validation is based on an assessment of employer medical claims and demonstrates credible proof that Alight delivers lower-cost provider guidance while maintaining quality standards. The savings validation is based on a review of over 713,000 medical cases over the course of five years where members engaged with Alight Healthcare Navigation. Savings results are based on actual allowed medical claims, with comparisons derived from either employer-specific claims data for similar cases or market-based benchmarks, depending on the member's point of engagement. The Validation Institute determined that the claim of $296M in savings was measured with the most valid metrics used in employee population health outcomes.
