Vale clarifies press releaseRio de Janeiro, March 4, 2026 - Vale S.A. ("Vale" or the "Company") informs that it has been informed of, through a press release issued by the Federal Prosecutor's Office ("MPF"), of a lawsuit filed by that entity against Vale, in which the MPF requests that the Judiciary order the suspension of operations along a 16-km stretch of the second railway line of the Carajás Railroad (EFC), located in Bom Jesus do Tocantins, Pará State. The Company clarifies that it has already submitted an initial statement in the court records and will present its defense in due course. Vale further emphasizes that, based on currently available information, the matter does not represent, at this moment, a relevant operational impact. The Company reiterates its commitment to transparency and cooperation with the authorities and will keep the market informed of any material developments related to this matter.
