MONTREAL, Aug. 7 /CNW Telbec/ - (TSX-V: GGR), Golden Goose Resources Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of A. Douglas Hunter as Vice President, Exploration. Mr. Hunter is a registered Geologist in Ontario (APGO). He graduated from Carleton University with an Honours B.Sc. (1975) & M.Sc. (1980) and has been in mining exploration since the 1974. His career began with Teck Cominco and Algoma Steel. As a co-founder of Wallbridge Mining he was part if the management team administering the company's joint ventures with Falconbridge (Xstrata) and Lonmin Plc.in Sudbury, Ontario and also directed the company's other exploration projects both in Canada and the USA. He has held multiple directorships and worked extensively with junior exploration companies.
Jean-Marc Lacoste, president, said, "We are proud to have Doug Hunter join Golden Goose to lead the technical team, as new, potentially economic mineralizations are discovered at the Magino Gold and Lac Levac Nickel projects. The Company also announces that the Board of Directors has granted A. Douglas Hunter stock options to purchase an aggregate of 150,000 common shares of the Company at an exercise price of $1.00 per common share, subject to vesting provisions. The options will expire on August 6, 2012. The grant is made pursuant to the stock option plan of the Company.
