27 May 2026 MELROSE INDUSTRIES PLC Update on Garden Grove facility in California Further to the announcement on 26 May regarding GKN Aerospace's Garden Grove facility in the US, at 7.30pm local time on 26 May, the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) announced the lifting of the remaining mandatory evacuation area. A small, temporary, restricted zone remains in place directly surrounding the facility. The OCFA publicly confirmed that no chemical leak has occurred and that there is no risk to the public. Work continues with the local authorities and with customers on operational recovery and supply plans.
