Union Tool Co. (the "Company") hereby announces its decision to construct a new factory building at the Nagaoka Plant.

1. Purpose of Constructing New Factory Building

   The company plans to construct a new factory building at the Nagaoka Plant to increase production capacity for our core product, carbide drills for printed circuit boards (PCBs), and to install on-site power generation facilities.

2. Background and Purpose of Construction

   1. Name: the Nagaoka Plant, Factory No.6

   2. Location: Nanyo, Nagaoka-Shi, Niigata Prefecture

      (A new building will be constructed within the site that currently houses factories No.2 through 5.)

   3. Total Floor Area: Approximately 10,000 m² (a three-story building)

   4. Planned Investment: Approximately 6.2 billion yen (We intend to fund this with internal funds.)

3. Scheduled Completion Date

   June 2027
