U. S. Steel Announces First-of-its-kind in the United States DRI Facility at Big River Steel Works
PITTSBURGH, April 29, 2026--United States Steel Corporation ("U. S. Steel") today announced a $1.9 billion investment to build a new direct reduced iron (DRI) facility at Big River Steel Works in Osceola, Arkansas — the first of its kind in the United States.
