· Issued by Television Broadcasts Limited

(Hong Kong, 17 September 2026) - TVB Limited ("TVB" or the "Group", stock code 00511.HK) welcomes and supports the announcement by Chief Executive John Lee of Hong Kong's first comprehensive plan covering the city's economic and social development over the next five years, as well as the delivery of the 2026 Policy Address.

Under the theme "A Strategic Vision for a Bright New Era: Driving Reform and Boosting Development, Unleashing Opportunities and Enhancing Livelihood," this year's Policy Address sets out Five Major Development Opportunities and Twenty-Five Key Livelihood Initiatives, reflecting the HKSAR Government's commitment to taking a long-term view of Hong Kong's development while continuing to enhance people's livelihood and well-being.
Hong Kong's First Five-Year Plan proactively aligns with the National 15th Five-Year Plan, while the Policy Address sets out concrete policies and actions to ensure the orderly implementation of its objectives. Together, the two documents provide a clearer, more coherent and forward-looking direction for Hong Kong's future development.

TVB also welcomes the initiatives set out in the Policy Address to consolidate Hong Kong's position as an Asia-Pacific broadcasting hub, as well as the measures under the Five-Year Plan to enhance the international influence of mainstream media. TVB will continue to produce diversified and quality programmes, actively harness innovative technologies and make effective use of different media platforms. It will also expand its presence in Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland and overseas markets, further enhancing the reach and influence of Hong Kong television programmes and burnishing the "Hong Kong Brand" through quality content.

TVB remains confident in Hong Kong's future. The Group will work hand in hand with all sectors of the community to seize opportunities arising from national and international developments, fully leverage Hong Kong's unique strengths, and jointly translate the development blueprint into tangible results.
