TRES OR EXPLORATION OF ADVANCED DUVAY GOLD PROJECT, QUEBEC

About this update from Tres-or Resources Ltd.

Sep. 30, 2010 (TheNewswire.ca) -- Tres-Or Resources Ltd. ("Tres-Or")(TSX Venture: TRS) is pleased to provide an exploration update on our ongoing field work and historical data compilation for the Duvay Gold Project ("Property"), an advanced gold project located in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt approximately 17 kilometres northeast of Amos, Quebec. Tres-Or`s Duvay Gold Project consists of 4 claims (169 hectares) in Duverny Township. Tres-Or has an Agreement to acquire up to a 100% interest in the Duvay Property and is earning its undivided right, title, and interest per the May 2010 Agreement. All of the work discussed below is from within Tres-Or's Property, based on historical reports see maps of Tres-Or's Duvay Gold Project (also referred to as Duvay-Obalski) at http://www.tres-or.com/Quebec-Duvay-Property. According to Quebec government reports, visible gold was discovered at the Duvay site in the late 1930s, and considerable work consisting of stripping, test pits, and drilling has occurred on the Property in subsequent decades of the 1940s, 1980s, and 1990s. Among the early work on Tres-Or's Duvay Property was drilling that returned samples up to 402 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 0.36 m (reported in 1945 as $410.91 gold over 14 inches by W. N. Ingham of Quebec Bureau of Mines in government mineral showing report GM08214). Another drill intersection from the same report yielded 76.8 g/t over 0.46 m (reported as 2.24 oz per short ton). More recent reports on the Property filed with the Quebec government indicate that drilling between 1980 and 1987 yielded numerous intersections containing significant gold content (e.g. 34.6 g/t over 0.43 m; 12.01 g/t over 1.53 m; 27.17 g/t over 1.14 m; and 16.598 g/t over 1.76 m) within a small area of about 150 m square, as well as many more intervals with lesser abundances or no gold (as reported in Quebec GM47594). In 1988, a former holder of the Property completed a dense drilling grid of holes spaced approximately 5 m apart, with a maximum depth of 54 m. Analyses reported from these holes include numerous significant intersections, such as composited intervals of 11.32 g/t over 7.5 m, 10.53 g/t over 9.0 m, and 19.5 g/t over 12.0 m, as well as many more intervals containing less or no gold (GM49068). As with the other intervals reported above, Tres-Or cannot yet confirm the results of the 1980 to 1988 drilling due the age of the reports, but Tres-Or geologists have been on the site and verified some remaining drill casings, which correspond well to maps of the 1987 and 1988 drilling. Tres-Or is conducting ongoing field work including sampling and GIS compilation mapping to confirm these historical reports of gold from the Property. -2- Among the ongoing field work projects are detailed structural mapping, which has identified at least two stages of deformation: an early stage of compressional deformation with sulphides and little quartz, followed by an extensional stage including formation of numerous quartz veins containing coarse sulphides. This structural mapping is being combined with a recently completed high-resolution ground magnetic survey to create a 3 dimensional (3D) model of the geology and magnetic susceptibility. Following completion of the 3D model, which is expected in October 2010, Tres-Or intends to channel sample, trench, drill and pit test targets identified from this modelling and mapping. Tres-Or has recently extended their claims position in the Duvay area by acquiring rights up to 76% of the much larger Duvay North Property ("Duvay Nord") which adjoins the northeast side of the Duvay Gold Project. Duvay Nord covers 1785 hectares, including a reported historical drill hole intersection of 6.5 grams per tonne gold over 0.3 m from 1946 (Quebec government showing report GM307-b) and is on a structural trend with several more showings. Tres-Or's Duvay and Duvay Nord projects, as well as the Duverny property packages recently acquired by Aurizon Mines Ltd. (AMEX:AZK) (TSX:ARZ) and Bowmore Exploration Ltd. (OOTC:BWMXF) (TSXV:BOW) , lie within a mafic volcanic belt with gold mineralization associated with extensive quartz vein systems and fold structures. Sementiou Inc. retains 24% and no royalty applies (see news release dated September 20, 2010 for further details). Laura Lee Duffett, President and CEO of the Company, a qualified person by the standards of National Instrument 43-101, is overseeing the project and is responsible for the scientific and technical information in this news release.
