Marston's PLC (the 'Company') announces that it has been notified that on 27 May 2008 Computershare Trustees (C.I.) Limited, as Trustee of The Marston's Employee Benefit Trust ('the EBT'), holds a balance of 1,333,383 shares following the exercise of options by the Executive Directors over 265,598 shares pursuant to the Company's Long-Term Incentive Plan.  

The Executive Directors of the Company, Ralph Findlay, Derek Andrew, Stephen Oliver, Paul Inglett and Alistair Darby, are deemed to have an interest in the above balance.
