Trading Update

Newmark Security plc (AIM: NWT), a global leader in secure people-data solutions for human capital management (‘HCM’) systems is pleased to announce an update on the Company’s current trading and progress with its corporate strategy.

The Company has made a positive start to the current financial year, reflecting the successful execution of its strategy.  It expects to report a year-on-year increase in revenue for the six months to 31 October 2026 (“H1 2027”) in its core Human Capital Management ("HCM") business.  As in previous years, the Company expects revenues to be weighted towards the second half of the year.

HCM annualised recurring revenue* (“ARR”) has increased 13% year-on-year to £4.3 million in September 2026 (September 2025: £3.8 million) driven by the success of GT Tablet, the Group's workforce management solution. Adjusting for the phasing out of the short term Mexican services contract last year, as previously disclosed, underlying year-on-year ARR growth was 26%.

HCM highlights in H1 2027 included:

  • First large order from a customer that was won in FY 2026, for a large U.S. airline
  • Another sale from a global home furnishings company via Legion, which became a customer in FY26
  • New direct-to-end-user (“D2E”) sale in the U.S, the Company’s first Workday customer win
  • Extended relationship with the Company’s largest HCM customer, securing a significant clock supply agreement which is expected to be delivered by the end of the financial year

Product development

The first version of the Artificial Intelligence (“AI”) agent, which is embedded in our cloud based GT Connect and enables users to query real-time workforce operations, went live in May as planned. As part of our five-year technology roadmap within product innovation, we are also developing AI hardware enabled capabilities for one our of existing clocks for release by mid-2027. The development of our new lower cost clock, GT1, is progressing well and we expect to launch this to the HCM market in 2027, with customers already giving positive feedback on the design.

Strategy update

The disposal of Safetell was completed on 30 September 2026, following a lengthly Government review process required by the National Security and Investment Act.

As previously announced, Access Control is in the process of being sold following the conclusion of its strategic review. The Board was clear with its decision that further investment to accelerate progress would divert vital management time and capital away from the HCM business, which presents by far the most attractive growth opportunies. The disposal process is progressing with management in discussions with a prospective buyer.

Alongside the disposal of the non-core assets, the Board is also reviewing other cost savings at a Group level as Newmark becomes a company soley focused on HCM.

Commenting on the update, Marie-Claire Dwek, CEO said: “We have made an encouraging start to the year as we continue to successfully execute our strategy. HCM annualised recurring revenue has grown 13% year-on-year to £4.3 million and by 26% on a underlying basis. We have won further new contracts and product orders, which includes another U.S. enterprise customer through our D2E strategy and securing our largest clocks order ever with an existing key customer.

“Following the recent disposal of Safetell and the sale process of Access Control having commenced, we are now firmly focused on HCM and realising our sales pipeline and the growth opportunities we see ahead.”

*ARR is calculated by annualising revenue recognised in a given month from all clients on deployed HCM subscription contracts
