We are not aware of any reason for the unusual movement in the trading volume of the shares of otir Company, TPL Insurance Limited ("TPI. I"), on the Pakistan Stock Exchangc Limited ("PSX") during the preceding period.

We would like to clarify that neither the Board of Directors nor the Management was, or is, aware of' any speculations or rumors concerning FPL Insurance Limited ("TPLI"), tether than already disclosed.

   This is with reference to the requirement of Section 97 of the Securities Act, 2015 and clause

   5.6.3 of P$X Regulations which require the Listed Companies to respond promptly by disclosing the following to the public if unusual movement in the price or volume of their traded securifies is observed:

   1. Details of any matter or devalopmei t of which it is aware of that is or may be relevant to the unusual movements, or

   2. A statement of the fact that it is not aware of any such matter or development.

It may be noted that PSX has observed unusual movement in the volume of fhe shares of TP LI during the preceding period.

Please note thot in case of any n1ateriaI,'price-sensitive information thot is likely to affect fhe price or volume of the shgres, listed companies ore required to promptl y disseminate the information through PSK for its onward dissemination to the public as stipulated under the PSX Regulation 5.6.1.

In view of the above, TPLI is advised to furnish the sufficient information as is available to it in order to clarify its position which may have resulted in unusual movement in volume of its sha res in terms of the PSX Regulafion 5.d.3. promptly through PUCARS for public informofion.
