In March 2026, a customer of Toyota Boshoku Group filed a recall notification with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for vehicles equipped with automotive seats manufactured by our consolidated subsidiary in the United States, due to a potential defect in the reclining mechanism of the second-row seats. Subsequently, on March 27, 2026, our customer filed a recall notice with the State Administration for Market Regulation of China, as it was determined that a similar defect might occur in vehicles equipped with automotive seats manufactured by our consolidated subsidiary in China.
