  2. Reasons

The earnings results for the second quarter exceeded expectations both in domestic and overseas housing equipment businesses. Given such results and the financial conditions, earnings levels, and dividend payout ratio, the Company has decided to increase its interim dividend from 14 yen to 15 yen, up by 1 yen. The Company has also decided to increase its year-end dividend from 28 yen to 30 yen, up by 2 yen.
