Establishing a Business Foundation in the Growing Australian Mobility Market by Leveraging Car Rental Operational Expertise

Tokyo Century Corporation ("Tokyo Century") announces that it entered into an agreement on February 24, 2026, to acquire all shares of Bargain Car Rentals Australia Pty Ltd ("Bargain Car Rentals"), a leading independent Australian car rental company.

This transaction marks Tokyo Century's first independent investment in an overseas car rental business. We aim to maximize corporate value at an early stage by leveraging the operational expertise accumulated by our subsidiary, Nippon Rent-A-Car Service, Inc.-specifically in optimized inventory control, high-efficiency branch operations, and customer services enhanced through digital transformation. Moving ahead, we plan to expand into peripheral sectors cultivated through our domestic operations, such as vehicle leasing, financing, and used car sales, to accelerate the construction of a mobility business value chain and the expansion of our business foundation in Australia.

Bargain Car Rentals is a leading independent car rental company in Australia, holding a top market share among local providers. Operating a fleet of approximately 5,000 vehicles across 13 locations near major airports, including Sydney and Melbourne, it provides services for both individual and corporate users. Customers highly regard Bargain Car Rentals for its diverse lineup, cost-effective pricing, and convenient online booking.

Due to its vast land area, Australia is a market with robust demand for rental cars as a vital infrastructure for intercity travel.
