Background and Overview: In July 2023, our group began preparations to establish a secure environment for the utilization of generativeAI, eliminating the risks of information leakage associated with generative AI usage. In October 2023, we formulated the "Guidelines for generative AI Utilization" to clarify the rules for using generative AI in our operations. In December 2023, we formed a project team consisting of volunteers from within our group to explore and examine the possibilities of utilizing generative AI within our organization. After conducting verification tests on functionality and operations, primarily led by the project team, we built a dedicated generative AI service environment for our group using Azure OpenAI Service*. In September 2024, we released the group's standard generative AI service, "T-Assistant." To ensure proper utilization and awareness of the risks associated with generative AI, we provided educational content on generative AI to our employees. 2. Scope of Utilization: Currently, the group's standard generative AI service, "T-Assistant," is being actively utilized for the following purposes: Creating emails and document drafts for business partners, including translation, sales support, and research tasks. Enhancing business efficiency and productivity by customized templates. Generating ideas for new businesses and policy planning. 3. Future Developments: Moving forward, we will share the knowledge gained from the utilization of the group's standard generative AI service within our organization. We will also consider expanding the service's functionalities, enhancing its operations, and developing medium to long-term plans for generative AI utilization, while staying updated on the latest advancements in AI technology. Additionally, for specific areas within each group company or business that involve inputs other than text or the uploading and storage of confidential information, we plan to create separate dedicated environments with limited access for utilization.
