Dear Sir,
This is pursuant to the resolutions passed by the shareholders of Thatta Cement Company Limited (the "Company") at the Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company held on May 29, 2025, approving subdivision of the face value of ordinary shares from Rs.10/- to Rs.2/-, the entitled shareholders will receive five (5) ordinary shares of Rs.2/- each for every one (1) ordinary share of Rs.10/- each held in their name.
The share transfer books of the Company will remain closed on July 12, 2025, for the purpose of determining shareholders' entitlements to the sub-divided shares. Shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as of the close of business on July 11, 2025, will be entitled to receive the sub-divided shares of Rs. 2/- each.
It may please be noted that all existing physical share certificates will stand cancelled as of July 11, 2025. The shareholders, holding physical shares, are requested to surrender their original share certificate(s), along with duly verified transfer deed(s) and a certified copy of their CNIC, to the Company's Share Registrar, at the address provided below, after July 11, 2025, for issuance of new share certificate(s):
