Thales issues a EUR1bn bond EUR

Thales ( Euronext Paris : HO) issued on August 20th, 2026 a bond in two tranches for a total amount of 1 billion euros , intended to finance the projected acquisition of Exail announced on ? July 6th, 2026 . This new issue comes in the following form: A tranche of 500 million euros , with a term of 4 years, at a fixed rate with a coupon of 3.50%; A tranche of 500 million euros , with a term of 8 years, at a fixed rate with a coupon of 3.75%. This issue was met with strong investor demand and has been widely subscribed by a diversified investor base, thus reflecting the market's confidence in the Group's credit quality, rated A2 (stable outlook) by Moody's and A- (stable outlook) by S&P Global Ratings. The issuance was managed by Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (global coordinator), alongside BNP Paribas , Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan , Natixis , Santander, Societe Generale , Barclays, CIC, Commerzbank, HSBC and UniCredit , as bookrunners.
