Taiwan Mobile's telecom EBIT hit a 7-year high in June, supported by double-digit YoY growth. Mobile service revenue rose for the fifth consecutive month to a YTD high, while smartphone postpaid ARPU continued its steady climb-both driven by effective upselling of our 5G rate plans and unique bundles. Our postpaid monthly churn rate also remained at historically low levels. As for our e-commerce business, revenue rose MoM to a YTD high amid the 618 promotional campaign. Backed by solid telecom performance and synergies from base station consolidation, net profit grew over 9% YoY, with EPS reaching NT$0.41.
Taiwan Mobile announced June 2025 unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$16.25bn; operating income of NT$1.85bn; net income of NT$1.24bn; and EPS of NT$0.41. George Chang, Chief Financial Officer and Spokesperson commented that Taiwan Mobile achieved the top ranking in the "Availability," "5G Video Experience," and "Overall Video Experience" categories in the Taiwan Mobile Network Experience Report recently released by OpenSignal. Leveraging 5G NR Carrier Aggregation (NRCA) technology, Taiwan Mobile combined non-contiguous 60MHz and 40MHz blocks in the 3.5GHz band to create Taiwan's largest 5G spectrum bandwidth of 100MHz. The company also completed network integration nine months ahead of schedule. With dense base station deployment and ongoing network optimization, users enjoy smooth and reliable mobile service-whether in urban or rural areas, indoors or outdoors. Looking ahead, we will continue to strengthen our infrastructure, optimize spectrum assets, and integrate AI-powered services to deliver a high-quality and reliable experience for our users.
