Start of operation for solar power generation systems in Mexico - Activities for Carbon Neutrality -
Industria de Asiento Superior, S.A. de C.V. (President: Kazuya Shishido) and TACHI-S Engineering Latin America, S.A. de C.V. (President: Kazuya Shishido), which are subsidiaries in Mexico of TACHI-S Co., Ltd. (President, CEO&COO: Yuichiro Yamamoto, Headquarter: Akishima, Tokyo), completed an installation of solar power generation system on August 31, and the system began to generate electricity in full swing.
It is expected to reduce annual electricity consumption by 631,500 kwh.

The introduction of the solar power generation system in Mexico is based on the TACHI-S Group's global Carbon Neutrality initiative. This is the third site that introduced the system following the Technical Monozukuri Center in Japan and sewing plant in China. TACHI-S Group is committed to reducing CO2 emissions by 24% by the end of FY24 compared to FY13. (Targets in Japan. We will set our global CO2 emission targets, including overseas group companies, by the end of FY22, taking into account TCFD Risk Analysis and targets by country.) We will continue to increase the number of sites using solar power generation systems as a renewable energy.
