Bellamy Software, a division of Sylogist, announced at its recent Customer Forum the transformation of its public sector applications software into a web-based platform designed to provide improved workflow, desktop integration and web services capability.
The launch of the Bellamy web-based software received very positive reviews and significant committed orders among customers who attended the annual forum held in Edmonton. A record number of over 220 customers attended the three day event which included key note speeches, workshops and user group forum sessions.
The software provides a modern look and feel, workflow improvements and Microsoft Office integration, as well as incorporating the latest in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) allowing integration with other SOA compatible applications. The public markets segments addressed by Bellamy Software include municipalities, counties, school boards and utilities. The web-based platform is fully compatible with existing Bellamy Software applications and will be available to existing customers under an upgrade program and to new customers by the summer of 2007.
Bellamy Software supplies the most comprehensive integrated public sector applications suite in the industry. The new web-based applications and interfaces provide customers with a strong differentiator over existing competitive client/server offering in terms of performance, ease-of-use, integration capabilities and the total cost of ownership.
