Strike Diamond Corp. Appoints Sam Wong as Chief Financial Officer
Vancouver, BC (FSCwire) - Strike Diamond Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SRK)("Strike Diamond" or “the Corporation”) is pleased to report that it has appointed Mr. Sam Wong, Chartered Accountant, as Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation effective February 17, 2015.

Mr. Wong is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Chesapeake Gold Corp and Lowell Copper Ltd. Prior to those positions, Mr. Wong was the Corporate Controller at Luna Gold Corp where he oversaw the finance division during Luna's transition from development through to commercial production. Mr. Wong is a Chartered Accountant and articled at Deloitte & Touche LLP in Vancouver, BC where he specialized in assurance and advisory for mining companies. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of British Columbia.

Option Grant
Pursuant to its Stock Option Plan, and subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange, the Corporation reports that it intends to grant 1,150,000 stock options to certain Directors, Officers and Consultants of the Corporation, such stock options having an exercise price of $0.08 per share, a five-year term, and immediate vesting.
