The collaboration with Yandex Cloud focuses on the secure application of artificial intelligence technologies, including the protection of industrial information systems. Nornickel and Yandex's technology platform will develop new security approaches for hybrid and cloud infrastructures to create reference architectural models for the Russian industry. The parties intend to transform best practices into industry standards and foster a corporate cybersecurity culture.

The agreement with Cross Technologies focuses on practical defense against cyberattacks. The parties will organize a regular exchange of data on current threats, conduct joint cyber exercises, and test Russian software solutions for infrastructure protection. This will help identify vulnerabilities faster and coordinate the work of monitoring systems during incidents.

Alexey Martyntsev, Director of Nornickel's Information Security and IT Infrastructure Department: "The goal of information security is to create opportunities, not barriers. The agreement with Yandex Cloud is unique: industrial companies are usually cautious about adopting cloud technologies and artificial intelligence. We support the business's drive for progress, but we strive to make this path secure. Together, our teams are already creating an end-to-end process that guarantees a high level of security for both the client and the provider. As for the partnership with Cross Technologies, it aims to secure our systems and network infrastructure. Our strategy for the coming years is to transition security processes to AI agents, and we see a major competitive advantage in this".

Nikita Gergel, Head of Information Security at Yandex B2B Tech: "Yandex's experience in applying artificial intelligence to security is the foundation for driving innovation in major companies. We have already started our collaboration by integrating on-premise corporate structures with cloud infrastructure into a unified whole. Moving forward, we plan to expand AI adoption in ICS (industrial control systems) security, accelerating innovation at Nornickel while maintaining the highest protection standards".

Lev Fisenko, CEO of Cross Technologies: "This is a strategic step and a serious technological challenge for us. We are ready to be a reliable partner and provide our expertise across all Nornickel IT projects, regardless of their scale and complexity".
