Stockland : Grevillea delivers first titles in East Wanneroo in under 12 months

Stockland has reached a landmark milestone at its newest Western Australian community, Grevillea in East Wanneroo, with the titles issued for the first 128 lots less than 12 months after early works commenced in August 2025. The Hon. John Carey MLA, Minister for Planning and Lands; Housing and Works; Health Infrastructure, was on hand to celebrate the achievement alongside future Grevillea residents, marking a pivotal moment in the delivery of large-scale housing supply within the East Wanneroo District Structure Plan (EWDSP) area. The milestone positions Stockland as the first major developer to deliver housing in East Wanneroo and reflects the company's capacity to navigate complex approvals and bring lots to market at pace in a constrained supply environment. Grevillea is centrally located within the EWDSP, which was finalised by the WA Minister for Planning and Lands in 2021 following the precinct's identification for urban expansion in 2018. The plan guides the urbanisation of 8,300 hectares across Perth's northern suburbs and will ultimately support 50,000 homes, 150,000 residents and 20,000 jobs. Spanning 123 hectares in nature-rich Mariginiup, just 32 kilometres from the Perth CBD, Grevillea will eventually be home to approximately 5,000 residents across around 2,000 lots, including 250 homes within a bespoke over-55s land lease community, Halcyon Grevillea. The first residents are expected to move into their new homes from mid-2027. Stockland General Manager WA Development, Col Dutton, said achieving first titles in under 12 months from breaking ground was a testament to the collaborative partnership between Stockland, the City of Wanneroo and the WA Government.
