HAMILTON, ON, Sept. 28 /CNW/ - Stelco Inc. (TSX:STE) announced today that it has scheduled a maintenance outage at its Hamilton Steel blast furnace for a period of 22 days commencing October 23, 2006. The blast furnace will be partially refurbished during the outage, thereby extending its life and improving performance. Delivery performance to customers will not be affected.
