it has posted an Updated Information Report ("the Report") to a link available
through the Company's Web site.
The Report was prepared in connection with the amended restructuring plan
dated December 4, 2005 and announced by the Company on December 5, 2005.
The Report provides an update on certain matters contained in the
information circular ("the Circular") dated October 5, 2005 that was sent to
the affected creditors of the Company and its subsidiaries involved in
Stelco's Court-supervised restructuring. The Circular was issued in connection
with the Plan of Arrangement and Reorganization dated October 3, 2005.
