Stecon Group is likely evolving into a multidimensional data-center player, CGS International's Kasem Prunratanamala says in a research report. The Thai company is co-developing Stellar DC, a 25-megawatt Bangkok facility, with Singapore's SC Zeus Data Centers, the analyst notes. It also has a joint venture on its plot on Bang Na-Trat Road in Thailand, which is breaking ground in 2Q. In Chonburi, its water JV Eastwater Stecon Utilities has secured a 10-year industrial water-supply agreement with Bridge Data Centres for a 200 MW hyperscale campus in Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor. The brokerage upgrades the stock to add from hold and raises the target price to 19.90 baht from 12.10 baht. Shares are 4.5% higher at 16.40 baht. ([email protected])
