Disclosure of shareholding interest in Zotefoams
Zotefoams was notified today that earlier this afternoon, Alveo AG ('Alveo'), a
subsidiary of Sekisui Chemical Co. Limited ('Sekisui'), acquired 2,797,200
ordinary shares in Zotefoams, representing 7.72 per cent. of Zotefoams' issued
ordinary share capital. No shares were held prior to this acquisition.
These shares will be registered in the name of Alveo.
Commenting on the above, Dr Bill Fairservice, Chairman of Zotefoams said:
'Sekisui is a valued strategic partner of Zotefoams and we welcome its
acquisition of a shareholding in the Company. We look forward to continuing to
develop our commercial relationship with Sekisui for the benefit of all
Zotefoams shareholders'.
Mr Gen Endo, President of High Performance Plastics Company of Sekisui, added:
'Sekisui is pleased to cement its trading ties with Zotefoams by taking a small
but significant shareholding. Our strategic alliance has already achieved
success in Europe and we expect to mirror this in North America, Asia and Latin
America'.
