Standard Exploration Ltd. Announces Drilling Activity
Calgary, Alberta CANADA, January 14, 2014 /FSC/ - Standard Exploration Ltd. (SDE - TSX Venture), (the "Corporation") is hereby providing an update on its recent drilling activities. During the fourth quarter of 2013, the Corporation drilled two wells at Claresholm, Alberta. The first well, 11-5-13-24 W4M, encountered Barons oil. It was put on pump and is currently being production tested. The second well, 11-11-13-25 W4M, was a dry hole and has subsequently been abandoned.
Pursuant to the Corporation's flow-through financing in February 2012, the Corporation was required to spend $905,597 on eligible petroleum and natural gas expenditures by December 31, 2013. As at December 31, 2013, this obligation has been fulfilled.
