TORONTO, Nov. 12 /CNW/ - Medworxx, the makers of a strategic software platform that hospitals use to communicate, aggregate, and analyze knowledge, is pleased to announce that St. Michael's Hospital will be an early adopter of the Medworxx Bed Optimization System, launched last week at OHA HealthAchieve 2008. St. Michael's Hospital has purchased a license for the Medworxx Bed Optimization System, along with additional services. They are expecting to streamline the bed management process by centralizing the bed management information in one system and facilitating communication.
The Medworxx Bed Optimization System (BOS) improves patient flow by providing a real-time clinical status of beds and resources with a view to establishing efficiencies in bed management as well as managing specific bed equipment requirements, and availability of acute, rehabilitation, continuing care or long-stay beds.
