(TSX: SDI) today announced the placement of its proprietary sepsis diagnostics system, the Endotoxin Activity Assay (EAA(TM)) at the Klinikum Grosshadern, of the Ludwig-Maximillians University of Munich. The clinical usage of the assay will be directed by Dr. Eugen Faist, Professor of Surgery. Professor Faist is a recognized world leader in the areas of Sepsis and Trauma. He will be the Congress Chairman for the 7th World Congress on Trauma, Shock, Inflammation and Sepsis to be held in Munich, Germany in March 2007, where further studies on the clinical utility of the EAA(TM) will be presented by speakers from around the world.
