Soma Gold CEO Javier Cordova joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company achieved gold production of 6,796 AuEq ounces in the first quarter of 2023 at its El Bagre, Colombia, gold mine.
Cordova tells Proactive production was almost at 100% of what was forecast but a seven-day general strike slowed production. Gold production was also 32.6% ahead of the same period last year, with the full-year forecast remaining at 35,500 ounces.
