Solid Resources appoints Senior Vice President and grants stock options

EDMONTON, Nov. 15 /CNW/ - Solid Resources Ltd. is pleased to announce the
appointment of Mr. Joseph Dutton as its Senior Vice President. Mr. Dutton will
be responsible for developing an effective communications strategy to enhance
Solid's profile in the national and international investment communities, and
for strategic and business planning and execution, including working with the
President and Board to accelerate the company's exploration and development
programs.
In a statement made today, Mr. Dutton indicated that "Solid is in the
enviable position of having 5 quality projects, any of which could produce a
significant economic success for the Company. The key is to take the next
steps aggressively in the company's development." He also added, "My
commitment to the shareholders of Solid Resources is that I will strive for
excellence in corporate governance and work as hard I can to unlock value in

Mr. Dutton has an extensive business background, and for the last
10 years has been President and CEO of several public companies in both the
mining and oil and gas sectors. Over his career he has executed successful
promotions strategies, raised significant amounts of capital for businesses
and charities, and has taken several ventures to the "next level". He has also
previously served as Director of the Alberta Business Immigration Office for
the Pacific Rim in Hong Kong, and as Executive Assistant to a former Premier
of Alberta.
Concurrent with Mr. Dutton's appointment, the Company has granted to him,
an aggregate of 300,000 options to purchase common shares of the Company. The
options expire at the end of two years. The exercise price is $1.20 per share.
