SOL S p A : Group strengthens its international presence in Brazil's technical gases businesses through a partnership with the Brazilian entrepreneur Newton de Oliveira, founder and owner of IBG Industria Brasileira de Gases S.A. (IBG).

With the backing of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) and SIMEST (a CDP Group company that supports the international growth of Italian companies), SOL Group has acquired the 51% of IBG, giving life to a new Joint Venture, that represents a strategic platform for the development of the business in the Brazilian market of technical gases.

SOL and the Brazilian Company IBG announce today the entering into a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the international presence of the Italian Group​,​ a leader in the production, applied research and sale of technical and medicinal gases and homecare​,​ and boosting IBG's growth in the domestic medicinal and industrial gases market.
