CALGARY, Aug. 24 /CNW/ - The Board of Directors of Softrock Minerals Ltd has approved, subject to approval by the TSV-Venture Exchange, granting Director Stuart B McDowall the option to purchase 200,000 common shares from treasury at ten cents per share up to 4:30 pm, October 08, 2013.
Mr McDowall joined the Softrock Board of Directors November 26, 2009 after 28 years in the Canadian Foreign Service in various countries including Greece, Colombia, Sweden, Cuba, South Africa, Lebanon and New York plus three years as Canadian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates from 1996 to 1999.
