DELAY IN DESPATCH OF CIRCULAR ON
MAJOR TRANSACTION
ACQUISITION OF COMMERCIAL BUILDING IN HONG KONG
Reference is made to the announcement of the Company dated 13 November 2018 (the "Announcement") in respect of the Acquisition. Unless the context requires otherwise, capitalised terms used herein shall have the same meanings as those defined in the Announcement.
Pursuant to Rule 14.41(a) of the Listing Rules, a circular containing, amongst other things, further details relating to the Acquisition (the "Circular") is required to be despatched to all the Shareholders within 15 Business Days after the publication of the Announcement, i.e. on or before 4 December 2018.
As the Company requires additional time for compiling the necessary information, including without limitation, the property valuation report and the accountants' report on the financial information of the Target Company, for inclusion in the Circular pursuant to the Listing Rules, the Company has applied for and obtained a waiver from the Stock Exchange from strict compliance with Rule 14.41(a) of the Listing Rules, on the basis that the Company will despatch the Circular on or before 28 December 2018.
