SKY Perfect JSAT : Achieves Carbon Neutrality for Scope 1 and Scope 2 Emissions Ac...

Tokyo, Japan, July 31, 2026 - SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & Chief Executive Officer: Eiichi Yonekura) announces that SKY Perfect JSAT Group ("the Group") achieved carbon neutrality for Scope 1 and Scope 2*1 emissions by the end of fiscal year 2025 through net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emission*2.

The Group has been implementing initiatives to reduce GHG emissions with the goal of achieving net-zero Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by the end of fiscal year 2025. To achieve this, the Group has advanced the transition to renewable electricity across its operations and offset residual Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions*3 that were difficult to eliminate through carbon credits and other measures.

As a result, the Group achieved its target of net-zero Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions and carbon neutrality by the end of fiscal year 2025.

Going forward, the Group will maintain carbon neutrality while continuing to reduce GHG emissions throughout its value chain, including through collaboration with suppliers. The Group remains committed to achieving carbon neutrality across Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 by 2050.

SKY Perfect JSAT Group has identified "Contribution to a Sustainable Environment" as one of its materiality issues. In addition to its efforts to achieve carbon neutrality for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, the Group promotes initiatives to reduce environmental impacts in accordance with its Environmental Policy. Through the advancement of its existing and new businesses, the Group will continue to contribute to environmental sustainability and the resolution of social challenges.
