Home » Investor Relations » Press Releases » General Sinclair Names Carol Kellum Vice President and General Manager of KPTM in Omaha and KHGI/KFXL in Lincoln-Hastings-Kearney 08.17.2026 BALTIMORE - August 17, 2026 - Sinclair today announced that Carol Kellum has been named Vice President and General Manager of KPTM (FOX) in Omaha and KHGI (ABC) and KFXL (FOX) serving the Lincoln-Hastings-Kearney market. Kellum returns to Sinclair following the retirement of Vice President and General Manager John Hannon, who will retire at the end of August. For more than 19 years, Kellum served as General Manager of KTVO, serving the Kirksville, Missouri-Ottumwa, Iowa market. During her tenure, she also held responsibility for KHQA in Quincy, Illinois-Hannibal, Missouri from 2008 to 2011 and again beginning in September 2025. Kellum remained with KTVO and KHQA following Sinclair's sale of the stations in 2025 and now returns to Sinclair to lead the company's Nebraska operations. "Carol is an experienced and accomplished broadcast leader with a strong understanding of local markets, station operations and the importance of serving viewers and advertisers across every platform," said Rob Weisbord, Chief Operating Officer and President of Local Media, Sinclair.
