To continuously enhance the manufacturing quality of cable and wire harness assemblies and further align with international standards, SINBON Jiangyin officially launched the IPC QML (Qualified Manufacturers List) certification project in March 2023 under the planning and guidance of Jason Huang, Plant Manager of the Industrial Control Business Unit.

After 32 months of systematic implementation and multiple rounds of rigorous evaluation, SINBON Jiangyin successfully passed the audit in November 2025. Its manufacturing processes were verified to comply with the IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies for Class 2 products. The company has since been officially listed in the IPC Global Qualified Manufacturers List (QML), signifying that SINBON's consistency and quality control capabilities in cable and wire harness manufacturing have reached internationally recognized standards.

Long-Term Commitment to Systematic Quality Management Enhancement
The QML certification project involved a long duration and stringent requirements, covering multiple critical aspects of manufacturing and quality management. Since the project's initiation, SINBON has conducted comprehensive reviews and optimizations in accordance with IPC standards, including personnel competency development, key process control, equipment and tooling calibration, documentation management, and process traceability mechanisms. These efforts ensure that quality requirements are not only established at the system level but are also consistently implemented in daily production operations.

During the verification process, the IPC audit team conducted document reviews and on-site audits, benchmarking actual operations against standard requirements. Constructive improvement recommendations were provided to further enhance process consistency and the maturity of quality management practices.

Focus on Critical Processes and End-to-End Quality Control
From a process perspective, the verification focused on critical operations such as crimping, soldering, mechanical fastening, connector assembly, and insulation processing, comprehensively evaluating compliance and process stability. From a quality control standpoint, the audit reviewed tooling and measurement equipment calibration systems, as well as the completeness of Statistical Process Control (SPC) planning, to ensure measurement accuracy and process stability.

In addition, the scope of verification extended across the entire value chain, including design, manufacturing, testing, and supply chain management. SINBON has systematically integrated compliance requirements for advanced applications-such as dynamic performance testing and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)-into its production processes. This further enhances product reliability under harsh environmental conditions, including high temperature, humidity, and vibration, ensuring stable and reliable delivery to customers.

Strengthening Trust within the Global Supply Chain
The IPC Global Qualified Manufacturers List (QML) is established based on IPC standards and a rigorous verification framework. Companies listed must demonstrate that their manufacturing processes and quality management capabilities meet internationally accepted criteria. SINBON's successful inclusion in the QML confirms that its manufacturing processes have been independently verified by IPC in accordance with applicable standards, enhancing trust, transparency, and visibility during international customer supplier evaluations, project introductions, and quality audits.

Jason Huang, Plant Manager of SINBON's Industrial Control Business Unit, stated: "Since its establishment, SINBON has consistently placed quality and innovation at the core of its operations, continuously strengthening its quality management systems. Achieving IPC QML certification is not only a strong affirmation of our process management capabilities and product reliability, but also lays a solid foundation for SINBON's continued expansion into automotive, industrial, and high-reliability application markets. Moving forward, we will take this achievement as a new starting point, further deepening our quality management and technological innovation to deliver more competitive products and professional services, and to work closely with our customers in advancing high-quality industry development."
