The Board of Elektron Plc (the 'Company' or 'Elektron') announces that it was
informed that following a purchase of 100,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the
capital of the Company ('Ordinary Shares'), Barry Bridge now holds 2,700,000
Ordinary Shares, representing 3.11 per cent. of the issued share capital of the
Company.
