World´s first commercial deployment of SICHARGE FLEX
The world's first SICHARGE FLEX charging system was officially put into operation at the OMV station in Kufstein on September 29, 2026.

The new SICHARGE FLEX system in Kufstein initially offers four charge points for passenger cars and two charge points for trucks, each with a capacity of up to 400 kW. In the next phase, four additional charge points for trucks will be added, with power outputs ranging from 600 kW to 1,200 kW delivered via MCS. This will significantly reduce the charging time. For example, a modern electric truck with a 620-kWh battery can be charged from 20 percent to 80 percent in about 45 minutes, allowing drivers to make the most of their legally mandated rest breaks. Thanks to fully dynamic power distribution, the available charging power can be allocated among the connected vehicles as needed.
