The program is designed to offer compensation in line with settlement values for similar claims in past wildfire lawsuits, with a more streamlined and much faster approach than litigation. As of Feb. 13, 2026: Fast Offers and Payments To date, submitting a claim takes just over 100 minutes on average. A dedicated team works directly with claimants, guiding them through the process and delivering settlement offers within 90 days of a fully documented, substantially complete claim. Many offers are being extended in a fraction of that time. The team offers these three tips to help accelerate the time to receiving an offer: On average, payments are being made within five days after all conditions in the settlement agreement have been satisfied, including SCE’s receipt of it — signed and notarized.
