On December 1, Resumption of Shipments for Dry Eye Treatment " DIQUAS LX Ophthalmic Solution 3% " November 20, 2025, Osaka, Japan - Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter Santen) announced that shipments of the dry eye treatment " DIQUAS LX Ophthalmic Solution 3% " are scheduled to resume on December 1, 2025. Santen had previously informed that shipments were scheduled to resume in early December 2025. The product was subject to voluntary recall and suspension of shipment in May 2024 following confirmation of a decrease in silver concentration of silver nitrate - serving as a preservative - identified in certain lots. After determining contributing factors and implementing countermeasures, Santen has confirmed that the silver content can be maintained. Therefore, manufacturing has resumed, and shipments will restart from December 1, 2025*. * This will be the start date for shipments from Santen to the distributors.
