FINAL DIVIDEND fCASH DIVIDEND) PAYMENT FOR THE YEAR 2025
ldc wish to inform you thnt the Board of Directors of Ssmp th Bank l'LC, at its meeting held on ) 9"' l•ebniary 2026, resolved to recommend to the shareholders the payment of the finnl Cnsh dividend of Rs.10.30 per shnre for the financial year ended 31*' I3ecember 202S, based on the number of shares in issue (1,172,700,760 shares), subject to applicable taxes. On this bnsis, the total dividend of Rs. JO.30 per slurc will cost Rs.12,078,817,828.00.
In terms of the I âstiiig Rules of the Colombo Stock ExchnngC, the record date for the aforementioned casll dis•idend will be 02 zpril 2026 and the date of dispatch of the dividend Paymentwill lie on or before 23'° April 2026, subject to the npprovnl of the shareholders at the Bank's Annri«l General
fleeting to be held on 30t' h4arch 2026. The share transfer books will riot be closed for the proposed dividend Payment.
'I'lie Dosrd of Directors has confirmed that the Bank would satisfy the solvency test us required by the
€ioinpnnies zct No. 07 of 2007, immedistely after the distribuiion of the Proposedfinal rlivi‹1enc1. › cor› of the certificate of solvency given by the bank's External Auditors, for the aforesaid Payments would follow, conforming to the requirements of the Listing Rules of the Colombo Stock Exchange.
