Anglo-Welsh Group PLC 12 April 2002 For Immediate Release 12th April, 2002 Anglo Welsh Group PLC ('Anglo Welsh' or 'the Company') Sale of Property Anglo Welsh today announces it has sold its Elms Work site at Great Haywood in Staffordshire for consideration of £165,000 (before expenses). The site has a net book value of £120,000. The sale of the asset is consistent with the Company's continued strategy of realising its assets for cash to form a cash shell pending an appropriate new direction via either an acquisition or reverse.
