Russian bank VTB's Jan-April profit drops 18.6% y/y

  • Jan-April net profit down 18.6% year-on-year to 165.5 billion roubles ($2.12 billion);

  • April net profit down 3.3 times in year-on-year terms to 24.3 billion roubles;

  • It may announce a small extra share issue after June 30 to replenish capital.
