TORONTO, April 16 /CNW/ - Gabriel Resources Ltd. ("Gabriel") announces that Gary O'Connor has submitted his resignation as Vice President Exploration of Gabriel. Gary O'Connor joined Gabriel in May 2000 as Vice President Exploration and has played a major role in delineating the Rosia Montana and Bucium deposits.
Alan R. Hill, President and Chief Executive Officer of Gabriel, commented "Gary O'Connor has played an instrumental role in developing the Rosia Montana ore body since joining Gabriel in early 2000". He added, "while I have reluctantly accepted his resignation, I would like to thank Gary for his contribution to the development of both Rosia Montana and Gabriel and wish him well in his future endeavors".
